Your estimated CO2 emissions in tons per year (US average is 6 tons)

This above number is your estimated CO2 emissions in metric tons per year.  In order to understand what a ton of CO2 “looks” like, use the conversion chart below to determine the equivalent number of 20 lb. bags of charcoal briquettes you are emitting.  The chart also indicates the number of mature sugar maple trees that it will take to offset your CO2 emissions.  A mature sugar maple tree removes 1.75 lbs. of carbon per month.

Conversion from tons to 20 lb. bags of charcoal briquettes and number of sugar maple trees to offset carbon emissions.

The goal of EnviroFootprint.org is to provide individuals, groups, and organizations a means to offset their carbon footprint by donating to the TCU Purple Bike Program.  All donations go toward the purchase of custom purple bikes for TCU students to use to commute to and from TCU.  Therefore, your donation removes a car from the road and reduces CO2 emissions in Fort Worth.

Offset your CO2 emissions with a suggested donation of only $5.00 per metric ton.

1 metric ton   = $  5.00
2 metric tons = $10.00
3 metric tons = $15.00
4 metric tons = $20.00
5 metric tons = $25.00
6 metric tons = $30.00

Envirofootprint.org utilizes the TCU secure epayment system.  All donations are tax deductible.
